I have experience teaching at several schools, including St. Dominic, Hiroo Gakuen, and St. Mary's International, where I have spent over 30 years teaching. I have also taught the SAT for 30 years. My expertise is geared towards third grade to 10th-grade math and writing, as well as CogAT and the SAT. I can patiently work alongside students as they build their abilities. Students can study at a pace that suits them. We can spend time tackling multiplication problems, as well as learning tricks that can help them more readily recall the information. I understand the material thoroughly and can express it in a variety of ways to students, regardless of their learning styles. We can discuss each step of the writing process and practice answering previous essay questions from the SAT as I provide feedback.
