Education
I was a tutor during the entire time I was studying for my undergraduate degree. I have tutored students ranging from those in elementary school to those studying at universities. My native language is English. I strongly believe students should be taught a solid base of relevant knowledge before tackling problems. In this way, they will first try to understand the problem rather than just attempting to solve it and hope that it is correct. I worked as an after-school mathematics instructor for children between the ages of eleven to sixteen. I was also the head tutor of a robotics school program, called Club Electron. On top of that, I also worked as a teaching assistant and mentor for my undergraduate electrical engineering department. One of the aspects I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to see your student improve and develop. Teaching is truly a rewarding passion.
Experience
I studied for my undergraduate degree in mechatronics, at the University of Cape Town. After that, I pursued my Master of Robotics at the top Danish Engineering University, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet. And I am presently a research student at The University of Tokyo in the area of machine learning for Furukawa Electric Co.
