While attending the University of Washington, I took a course in language teaching theory and methodology. I have previously tutored in conversational English on a private basis. I can also coach students on how to give effective, clear oral presentations. Additionally, I am experienced in proofreading and editing documents, both for grammar and clarity. Experience
I attended the University of Oxford and graduated in 2017 with my Master of Studies with Distinction in Oriental Studies focusing on Japanese Classical Literature. My dissertation topic was the interpretation of Ono no Komachi as a folk heroine in Muromachi-era texts. I also received my Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies and Literature cum laude from the University of Washington at Seattle in 2016.
