I have over two years of experience teaching English as a Secondary Language to students abroad. In addition, I have tutored students in English and Spanish. My academic background and in-depth knowledge of these languages allow me to offer my assistance to students at a variety of levels, whether they need a hand with their pronunciation or want to enhance their vocabulary for an upcoming trip. I can spend time working with students 1-on-1 to improve their fluency in Spanish or English. I can employ many teaching strategies that benefit language learners, such as leading conversations or discussions in the target language or exploring musicians and artists of the culture. We can practice conjugating verbs, constructing sentences, or expressing thoughts and opinions with the right vocabulary, among other things.

I studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I majored in Hispanic Literature and Cultural Studies. I help a solid 3.8 GPA.
