Education

I have more than five years of experiences tutoring children between the ages of seven and eighteen. I also have experience helping students prepare for their Oxford and Cambridge interviews. My native language is English but I also speak Japanese at a conversational level and can work with students in either language. I currently tutor English and mathematics at the high school and college level, including test preparation in these subject areas for standardized exams such as the GRE and SAT. Working with a student in a one-on-one learning environment allows me to focus my instruction on the exact areas the student is struggling with. This makes the learning process more efficient and can decrease a student's level of frustration while also increasing their engagement with the learning process.
